I am choosing to write my paper on abortion because I feel as though I can provide a very interesting argument for both perspectives. Abortion has always been a very controversial topic of conversation, where both sides of the issue have had very strong arguments to support their view points. It's always been an interest of mine, so writing a paper on it seemed appropriate.
Our society holds very strong view points on this topic; some are very pro and some against. I know that alongside the physical, there are also emotional implications that come along with the termination of a pregnancy, depending on how far along you are, so precautions should definitely be taken either way. There are exceptions with every situation; what the circumstances were, the reasoning etc. and I will be discussing them all in depth.
I'm not too sure on the exact science behind the concept of abortion or life, so I am looking forward to doing more research and expanding my knowledge to help me provide better arguments for my paper. I want to learn more about the emotional harm that comes with termination; does it cause life long issues? Or better yet, could it still cause emotional issues if one keeps an unwanted child?
